Camping vs Running And Gunning

Shooters are not really known for there story modes, because now days its all multiplayer anyway let's get started.

There hasn't been many details released for the campaign mode yet, GOD DAMMIT !!!
But DICE have told us that the campaign mode will be around 9 to 12 hours to complete.

And as we can see from the video below us its going to been totally awesome...

Also Battlefield 3 is coming equipped with campaign cooperative play which sounds good since the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 campaign was nothing special.

There has been an interview with PSM3 magazine "Battlefield 3" executive producer, Patrick Bach, and he said that the co-op play will take place within a dedicated mode. And the mode will consist of ten maps, designed for tackling with two players.

For most people the most important part of the Battlefield franchise is the multiplayer, so let's see if it has improved from the last Battlefield which is Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

There are still going to be four different classes to choose from which are recon, engineer, assault and support. All of the classes will have elements familiar to veterans of the Battlefield series, but there has been a variety of tweaks.

Here is a description of each roll as all rolls play an inportant part in the team.

Recon: is mainly a sniper class where you sit behind and sniper from the back of the battlefield. Players will also been able to spot enemies for their team mates. Now that you will be able to go prone sniping should be easier to hide, as before in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 you couldn't go in prone mode, so that is a major improvement.

Engineer: as an engineer you task is to repair the vehicles on the battlefield. also you will have the equipment to destroy enemy vehicles too. RPG's can be used to take down armoured vehicles that are impervious to ordinary bullets. The Engineer's arsenal also includes carbine weapons, which are weapons used by soldiers who don't necessarily have front line duties, but may still have to fight.

Assault: is the run and gun class, more like the front line soldiers. The major change in this class is that this is now the medic class, where you can heal your teamates and youself also you will be able to revive wounded teamates. You will be suplied with the most common weapons like AK-47.

Support: unlike Battlefield: Bad Company 2 the support class will no longer have any medic gear since that has now been swapped to the Assault class. You will instead use light machine guns (LMGs) to lay down heavy suppressive fire. This class will also carry extra bullets, also you will have the ability to give out ammo to your teamates and your self.

There is anouther new feature which only applies to the Support and Recon classes which is The bipods that can be deployed anywhere, either by zooming in with the gun whilst lying prone, or when standing or kneeling in front of a suitable support, such as a window sill or wall.

Dog tags have been a regular Battlefield feature since Battlefield 2142 where Players who creep behind their enemy to stab them will be rewarded with there dogtags. And you can now costermize your dogtags which will make your stabbing more fasinating than the older Battlefield games.

The will be lots of vehicles, such as tanks, light vehicles and water craft, as well as planes, choppers and jets but will only be avaliable on certain maps.

Also Battlefield 3 has updated its engine to a newer version of frostbite, where you can significantly notice that the graphics have got so much better.

There will around 15 different multiplayer maps with up to 24 players in each map.

The Call of Duty franchise has always got slack from everyone because of the length of their campaign modes, so lets see if activition have tried to make a mend of things.

The single player campaign will start minutes after where Modern Warfare 2 finished, where the US was attempting to repel a surprise attack on the Russians.

A report from Activition says that the single player campaign will ping-pong players around the world as they take on the multiple throwaway roles as a Russian Federal Protective Services agent, SAS Operative, tank gunner, and AC-130 gunner as well as key characters from previous instalments and new recurring characters.

There will be around 15 missions that will be taken in lots of global positions.

Since we first heard that Modern Warfare 3 was coming out, it has been getting a serious amount of hate because since the release of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare a lot of people have been saying that there has been minor changes to the multiplayer. But as the saying goes 'don't change it if it isn't broke'

Modern Warfare 3 key feature changes is that there are going to be 20 new maps but im not sure if any of them will be DLC, but knowing Call Of Duty there is at least 3 map packs per game.

Also another new feature is Team Perks, where the team must work together to earn Team Perks. Four of the supposed team perks reportedly include: Stopping Power, Blast Shield, Health Regen, and Stun Protection.

Some of the new perks that will be available in MW3 are Blind Eye, Assassin, Point Guard, Dead Silence, and Recon. Some perks from Modern Warfare 2 will be brought back in, but it's thought that none will be brought back from Call Of Duty: Black Ops.

There is going to be a new list of killstreak rewards, the tactical nuke killstreak has been removed because people where complaining about how it's not fair that one player could end the game and that it encourages camping.

EMP Grenade: Temporarily takes out all area electronics

Littlebird: A tiny remote-controlled helicopter.

Precision Airstrike: Calls in an airstrike on a targeted area.

Stealth bomber: Calls in a B2 Spirit to carpet bomb along a line designated by the player.

Remote Turret: A remote controlled turret.

Directional UAV: A UAV that can be directed into areas to scan for enemies.

Remote Mortar: Direct a mortar team using a zoomable camera view of the map to call in strikes.

Airdrop Trap: A booby-trapped airdrop.

Ammo Resupply: An ammo reloading airdrop.

Escort Airdrop: A protected airdrop.

Specialist Strike Package: This one remains a mystery to us.
