Here's the challenge: One month to write 50 great lenses

My challenge for myself which I decided to go public with: Trying to write 50 quality lenses in order to qualify for Giant Squid status by the end of March 2010.

I worked out that I needed to write about two lenses per day in March in order to qualify. I had about 500 great ideas for lenses already documented in my to-do list. I nosed around Squidoo and worked out how things work a bit. I was ready to write. Think it's possible? Apparently so!

In April 2010 I was told that I had made it in to the Giant Squids program. Yay! I'll leave this lens here just to prove to you all that it's really possible!

Speaking from experience, one needs more than 50 lenses to make Giant. I made it on the 2nd try. Good luck! I think you do a pretty good job--at least on the lenses that I visited. If you do not make it this go around, try again!

You already have 500 great ideas for lenses, that's wonderful. I don't have anywhere close to that, that's why I joined the "get cracking challenge." If you enjoy writing you shouldn't have any problem. Good luck.
