At home you can perform a candidiasis test in a couple of different ways. If you are already suffering from symptoms that you suspect are connected to a yeast infection/candidiasis then answering the questions below will help you decide.
Here are a list of questions for your candidiasis test.
Have you ever taken a course of antibiotics or any antibacterial drugs/medication on more than one occasion?
Have you suffered, or do you suffer with recurrent yeast infections?
Do you have a low concentration level, or have a foggy brain?
Do you suffer from food cravings for foods such as sugar or bread?
Are you sensitive to tobacco smoke or chemical smells like perfume or cologne?
Have you ever taken steroids for long periods of time?
Have you taken the birth control pill for long periods of time?
Do you suffer from any intestinal disorders such as constipation, bloating, diarrhea, indigestion or any abdominal pain?
Do you suffer from itchy or burning skin?
Do you suffer from any symptoms that even your doctor cannot put a cause too?
Did you answer yes to most of them
You have a high chance of suffering from candidiasis if you answered yes to most of these questions. If you have already been to see your doctor about your symptoms, and they still haven't improved then this may be an even bigger indication that you're suffering from candidiasis.
Candidiasis is an infection that doctors have trouble dealing with. The main reason is they have nothing to prescribe for it, and everyone's symptoms are slightly different. They can give you something for an external yeast infection but this will just return because of your candidiasis.
See a Naturopath practitioner
A Naturopath will have a lot more experience with candidiasis, and any intestinal problems. If you have one in your area you will get a lot of information, and a much better diagnosis by giving them a visit.
