Six Reasons to Take Canned Heat on the Road

Canned Heat was a premiere blues band during the Woodstock Era. They gave a voice to the spirit of the times. During the Vietnam War, their music accompanied flower children and hippies as they traveled from concert to concert, went out in search of themselves, and traveled to protests across America.

Their World Tours took them to Australia, Europe, and across North America. As they became known for their ability to entertain on stage, the artwork in their concert posters took on psychedelic qualities.

Before Heavy Metal Bands were popular, Canned Heat provided an outlet for the high energy of frustration of our changing world. Their lyrics and music were later adopted as sound tracks for movies that spoke to the hearts of that generation.

Here are six reasons why Canned Heat is the band to take with you on the road.
