Canon 600D vs Canon Kiss X5, what is the difference?
In Japan, the Canon EOS 600D is called EOS Kiss X5, and it is called Canon EOS Rebel T3i in the North America. Technically, they are exactly the same camera with same specifications and body design. The main difference between them is the nameplates on the body. Other than that, there are still minor differences between the cameras, where the video output is NTSC for Rebel T3i and the EOS 600D is PAL version. Of course, Kiss X5 is sold in Japan and the default language is set in Japanese while the others are in English, but you can always set the language back to English.Rumors also said that Canon tried to build in different names to expand their markets into different countries and avoid reselling across countries by others.

Canon EOS 600D vs 60D - Battle of the Flip Screens
When the Canon EOS 60D, I had to admit that I was amongst those who felt that the vari-angle LCD on it was mainly a gimmick to establish its raison d'¨ºtre between the popular 7D and 550D. More recently, when the Canon EOS 600D was announced, I had to ask that while I was no longer questioning the reason of including a vari-angle LCD, was Canon trying to kill their 60D sales with this release? After all, I did suggest that getting the Canon EOS 550D instead of the 60D may be a better idea. With the improvements in the EOS 600D, does the Canon 60D still have a chance? While most of the specifications are identical such as the vari-angle LCD, the image sensor, the image sensitivity, metering system and much more. However, there are also some key differences which cannot be ignored such as the availability of the built-in wireless flash control on the Canon EOS 600D or the 9-point cross type sensor AF system of the Canon EOS 60D. To be honest, those are really the main differences between the two cameras when you take away the top LCD and the more robust body of the 60D.
So which to choose? Canon EOS 600D or 60D?
When you take into consideration that the price difference of the two models is about 140 pounds (based on SRP between body only prices), then it's easier to accept the choice of the more compact and lightweight version. You will also benefit from some new modes but the video modes could probably be applied via a firmware update on the Canon EOS 60D if Canon so choose. Therefore, while the digital zoom in movie mode may rock big time, it may not be a difference that would last a long time solely in the 600D.
Wireless control - Both has it (for some reason this refused to get into my head - my bad!) Taking another look with this in mind, the 60D is the clear choice for those looking for a second camera to complement their primary camera for video or still shooting with the flip screen advantage. There is also the AF system where the 60D delivers all 9-points using cross-type sensors rather than just the centre one on the 600D. We've yet to fully test the performance impact of this but the 60D does seem to focus faster in general use. You have to be honest, it's not likely that someone using a 1D Mark IV is going to consider a 600D as a secondary so it would have to be either the 7D or the 60D. With the 60D, they've got the vari-angle for the movie shooting so that may make it a better choice.
Choose the Canon EOS 600D
If you want a full feature DSLR that encompasses all that would be required to take you from rank novice to serious enthusiast without breaking a sweat. You won't have to worry about changing camera body for a while and can explore the movie making as well quite easily.
Choose the Canon EOS 60D
If you require a more robust body and better camera handling. The top LCD is really a must and the better focusing will make a long shoot far smoother.

Canon EOS 600D vs 550D - Is it really better?
There are no doubts that the Canon EOS 550D was a very good all round camera which allowed you to progress comfortably from an absolute beginner to a serious enthusiast. Its successor, the Canon EOS 600D is likewise of a similar nature and also features a new shooting mode as well as a vari-angle LCD. The main question is that whether the Canon EOS 600D is a better camera that is worth the extra costs over that of the Canon EOS 550D.Full article:Canon EOS 600D vs 550D - Is it really better?
Canon EOS 600D vs. Nikon D3100 - Which is better?
The Canon EOS 550D was already a tremendous camera which could take on some of the offerings beyond the entry-level DSLR range it belongs to. Now with the Canon EOS 600D being announced, does the Nikon D3100 still stand a chance against this new introduction? Well, the answer is a straight up no! Sorry Nikon. Don't believe me? Read on%u2026Taking things straight off from where the Canon EOS 550D left off, the Canon EOS 600D comes with excellent movie mode features with a large variety of frame rates. Sure, the Nikon D3100 can autofocus while shooting movie but the feature is still rather half-baked and worthless if you want to get some serious results. Unless some sort of firmware upgrade can tremendously improve the autofocusing, the points will have to go the 600D. What's more, the 600D also offers a new feature called Video Snapshot technology. What it does is stitch multiple 2,4 or 8 seconds clips into a single movie file. Useful? You tell me. However, the offering of 3-10x digital zoom while maintaining Full-HD quality gives a lot more flexibility if you need the extra reach for your filming. I got a feeling a lot of peeping toms would love this feature along with their 200mm or more lens! This of course makes the 600D even better.
