Canon T3i Review - How Good Is It?
Canon has once again launched their newest upper entry-level digital camera The Canon EOS Rebel T3i also know as The Canon 600D. While still using an 18MP CMOS sensor found in rebel T2i or the 550D, but the other improvements as compared to its little brother (550D) is huge.
For example, the t3i gains a tilt and swivel 1,040k dot LCD monitor like the one offered on the more high end level such as 60D. And also it has the ability to control flashguns via it's internal flash, which only featured previously on a higher end model.
This is a truly major improvements for professional photographers looking for an entry level digital camera as well as hobbyist like me :)

Canon ESO Rebel T3i Review Continued
Well, it's Canon, what more can I say :) Seriously though, To me (and others as well), canon has always produced great products. So chances you get a crappy model are very slim. But, Here's a list of stuff that didn't upgraded:1. 18-MP CMOS sensor
2. DIGIC 4 processor
3. Kit lens - same 18-55mm lens
4. ISO sensitivity - still 100-6400 (expandable to 12800)
5. Video - unchanged from 1080P HD
6. Continuous shooting rate - 3.7 frames per second, just like the T2i
And here's the stuff that did upgraded:
1. Tilt and swivel 1,040k dot LCD monitor.
2. Ability to remotely control flashguns using its internal flash
3. Auto Lighting Optimizer now adjustable in 4 levels
4. Vari-angle display
5. 'Creative Filters' can be applied to images in playback mode
Based upon this list we know for sure that the Canon T3i (600D) doesn't officially replace the 550D but a combined features between 550D and the higher end model the 60D. The huge differences are in the Tilting and swiveling LCD monitor ability with 10 times zooming option and it's user friendly guides.
This nice features of EOS 600D are something that first Digital SLR user would find useful and will certainly keep professional photographers happy.
