Canon EOS Film Cameras
Canon EOS Rebel K2 - This model is an entry level 35mm film SLR, which has a 7-point AF system and features 12 shooting modes. The K2 is capable of shooting 1.5 fps using regular 35mm film.
Canon EOS Rebel T2 - This is another entry-level model in Canon's 35mm film SLR line-up. The K2 uses a similar 7-point AF and includes the same 12 shooting modes as the K2, but the frame rate increases to 3fps.
Canon EOS ELAN 7NE - A step up from the K2 and the T2. This is a prosumer-level 35mm film SLR. Included is a 7-point AF. A more advanced light metering system is included as well as the frame rate is boosted to 4fps.
Canon EOS-1v - The top of the line as far as Canon professional 35mm film model SLRs go. The EOS-1v includes a vastly superior 45 point AF system, with advanced E-TTL metering and a magnesium weathersealed case. Frame rate is an amazing 10 fps.

How Sensor Size Affects Apparent Focal Length
Here is an example: Take a 50mm prime lens. On a full-frame DSLR camera it will produce an image the is comparable to that which would be produced on a 35mm film SLR. (Both the full-frame sensor and the 35mm film are approximately the same size.
Now put the same lens on a APS-H size DSLR. The APS-C sensor is approximately .77 times the size of the full-frame sensor. (or the full frame sensor is 1.3 time the size of the APS-C sensor.) The image circle cast by the 50mm lens is the same size, but because of the reduced size of the APS-H sensor, only a smaller portion nearer the center of the lens is recorded, almost like "cropping" the center of the image in Photoshop. The lens really does not change. There is no magnification of the image. There is an apparent change in the focal length of the lens on the APS-H camera, as the image would record the same area as would a longer lens (in this case a 1.3 x 50mm or 65mm) on a full-frame DSLR.
The effect becomes even more dramatic on an APS-C DSLR as the APS-C sensor is even smaller. This time the apparent change in focal length is 1.6 times as great. The same 50mm lens now produces an image with an effective focal length of an 80mm lens on a full-frame camera.

Canon EOS 1000D (Canon EOS Rebel XS)
/ Canon EOS Rebel XS seems to be a cross between the 400D and the 450D, this 10.1Mp CMOS APS-C format DSLR is Canon's smallest and lightest DSLR to date. Includes a 2.5 inch Live View LCD scree, a 7-point AF system, and the newest DIGIC III processor. The frame rate remains unchanged from the 400D/450D's 3fps, but only when shooting jpegs. When shoot RAM, the frames rate drops dramatically to a disappointing 1.5fps.
Canon EOS 350D (Canon EOS Rebel XT)
This entry level DSLR , has an 8.0Mp CMOS APS-C size sensor. A 7 point AF system is included and the XT is capable of a frame-rate of 3fps. Canon EOS 400D (Canon EOS Rebel XTi)
This was the successor to the Rebel XT and one of the most popular DLSRs in history. An entry level 10.1Mp DSLR with a new APS-C format sensor. Several improvements over the XT were made including a new 9 point AF system and a much larger 2.5 inch LCD screen. The frame rate remained unchanged at 3fps. Canon EOS 450D (Canon Rebel XSi)
Canon's newest entry level DSLR and successor to the Rebel XTi. Includes an updates 12.2Mp APS-C format sensor as well as many improvements including an even larger 3.0 inch LCD screen that now comes with Live View and an increase in the frame rate to 3.5 fps. Canon EOS 30D
This is one of several mid level DSLR from Canon and replaces the prior Canon 20D. Featuring an 8.2Mp APS-C format sensor, a larger 2.5" LCD, 9-point AF system and a 5fps frame rate. Canon EOS 40D
Canon's current mid level DSLR. Includes a new 10.1Mp APS-C format sensor, a larger 3" LCD with Live View and a new 9-point AF system. Canon also upped the frame rate to 6.5 fps, making this the second fastest Canon DSLR in production now. Canon EOS 5D
A mid level camera that many consider to be a professional level DSLR. This was the first non-professional model full-frame model produced by Canon. The 5D has a 12.8Mp full-frame format sensor, a 9-point AF system and a 2.5" LCD. Does not have a lens focal length conversion factor like the APS-C ro APS-H format cameras, but it cannot be used with the EF-S format lenses. Frame rate is 3 fps. Rumors of a immanent replacement are everywhere online. Canon EOS 1D Mark III
A truly professional level DSLR favored by sport and action photographers. An amazing frame-rate of 10fps! THe 10.1 Megapixel APS-H format DSLR, includes a 45-point AF system, a new 3" Live-View LCD sceen and comes with full weather sealing. Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III
Another professional level DSLR, this is considered the top of the line for portrait and landscape shooters. The 21.1Mp full- frame DSLR features the new 3" Live view LCD, a 45-point AF System and a 5 fps frame rate. Uses two new DIGIC III processors and is arguably the most advanced DSLR in production.
