I Was Convinced I Can't Lose Weight...I Was Dead Wrong!
I was like you, battling with my weight for years. Going nowhere. One month looking good, the next looking (and feeling) like a whale.
Two big things happened in my life to make me sit up and realise I needed to change my way of thinking.
First I was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic, jeez that's the old age diabetes and I was only 27!
Second I had a bad motorcycle spill and left one of my arms paralysed. Which in turn stopped me from most daily activity. I couldn't exercise properly!
I was slowly putting on more weight than ever before.

I Was Convinced It Wasn't My Fault
I blamed the medication and inabilaty to exercise.
In fact I would blame everything & anything, even my wife!
It took me a few years of yo-yo weight loss and weight gain to realise that on my own with just the (basic) knowledge that I had I was fighting a losing battle.
Other people were losing weight and keeping it off, and looking great with it. What was their secret, I was determined to find out.

I Discovered The Secret!
Turns out it wasn't really a secret.
I finally realised that there was no real secret. Other people who I was envious of were not harbouring any magical potion or anything like that.
They had simply found a system that worked for them and they stick to it.
I see ads on my tv for 'stop smoking' patches and gum, and the small print nearly always reads "willpower needed".
And that's about as secret as this weight loss gig gets. Find a system or method that works for you and stick to it. Again...'willpower needed'.

Without Willpower You'll Just Give Up!
And yes, there is a joke in there!
I did a lot of research into dieting systems and ended up buying loads of stuff. Mainly crap but there you go. I see it as money well wasted as I actually found a decent workable system in all the garbage.
I use a daily step by step system that allows me to tick off the boxes every day. From dieting to (mild) exercise I can tick off what I've done.
Knowing this I know that I'm on the right track and as long as I continue ticking those boxes every day I'll be ok.

If You Still Think You Can't Lose Weight...
Try the system I use every day
I don't have to buy special foods that go with the "plan". I have no ongoing charges like weightwatchers. I eat normally and as much as I want. I exercise a little, well as much as my injury allows me.
I develop my own diets with an online generator. I'm never stuck for variety in my food. And being diabetic that's one hell of a bonus!
If you think you can't lose weight then stop wasting boatloads of your cash and check out the system I use.
You can then spend your extra pennies on some of lifes little luxuries instead of "speacial diet" foods and classes, and not to mention expensive (and useless) equipment.

Still Here?
You really do think you can't lose weight
Seriously, if you still think you can't lose weight then you really need to change your views. And I'm not saying that in a nasty way. It's so easy to get stuck believing something that it becomes hard to alter your views.
To be honest a lot of the dieting industry want you to think like this because they are willing to take your money every time a new 'fad' diet comes out.
The diet industry is so big it's unreal. All paid for by you & me. Well, not me anymore.
I've found the system for me, it works and I love it. Check it out, you may fall in love with it as well!

Got any comments or helpful info for other weightloss hopefuls?
Leave em here but please, if you can't be nice, don't be nasty.

- Hi Ron,
Really pleased that you found something which worked for you. I was also diagnosed with type 2 diabetes together with a high cholesterol level and was told to lose weight or take drugs for the rest of my life. I've made a diary of how I lost the weight and started getting the cholesterol level down, it's at http://bill-friend.com/quickweightloss/ I've also found a brilliant second income !

I once thought I can't lose weight. I will never again think that! (more)
