Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat
Personally, I've preferred the Street Fighter series hands-down for many reasons. I've played most of the iterations of both the SF and MK games in the arcades on the first day of their respective launches. I prefer the intricate gameplay. Street Fighter was much harder to play for a beginner than Mortal Kombat. I can see how the layman off the street would prefer Mortal Kombat simply for that reason.
Which series do you prefer and why?

Street fighter because the fighting is more addictive to me, but my favorite character is on Mortal kombat which is Sub-Zero!!!! (Fatalities are cool too but still street fighter owns all.)

In my opinion, MK2 is one of the best fighting games of all time. The action ws fast-paced, all of the characters were evenly balanced, and there were no unfair, lengthy combos.
