Afrim's Summer Action Camp is an indoor soccer complex located in Loudonville just shy of Wolfe road on Albany Shaker road. They offer full and half-day indoor camps from children age 3-11 and are divided into two age groups, 3-6 and 7-11. They provide all snacks, drinks and lunches along with extended care options.

Rudy A Ciccotti CenterThe Rudy A Ciccotti Family Center is located off of Wolfe Road in Latham, NY and offers an array of summer activities from full-day care, mini-programs and group swim lessons. Camps include sports camps for almost any sport including baseball, softball, cheerleading and basketball. General topic camps include carpentry, cooking and technology. Performing arts camps including dance, theater and music. Many of the camps do not require you to be a member.

Childrens Museum of Science and TechnologyThe Children's Museum of Science and Technology Located in Troy, NY CMOST hosts science camps for 5-14 year olds that run from June 28 - September 3. Camps are organized into age groups and include topics for the younger kids such as Adventures in Science; Engineering Simple Machines; Body Science to more advanced topics for older kids such as Nano Camp and Solar Science & Spring cars.

Sage Colleges Pre-College Program for High School Students

Sage College Summer CampSage Colleges offers a pre-college program for high school students. Courses are offered in Summer Art and Design, Pre-College Liberal Arts Program and a Portfolio Presentation Workshop. Students in 11th, 12th may receive up to 3 college credits per course (fee applies). The program runs from July 9 - August 3, 2012.

Proctors in Schenectady offers a summer camp for children ages six and older and offer full or half day sessions. The week long camps include theater related themes such as jazz dance, theater, improv and costume design.

Times Union Summer List

The Times Union maintains a list of summer programs in the Capital District. The current list is over 175 programs and are organized by city, age, gender and category. Categories include sports, overnight, recreational/day, arts/culture and educational camps.

Town of Guilderland Summer Camps

Guilderland Parks and Recreation Summer CampsThe Town of Guilderland offers summer sports camps, enrichment and day camps. The camps vary in age but there is something for any child age K-12. Most camps cost about $60-$100 and run approximately 2-2.5 hours several days a week. Sports include football, cheerleading, basketball, golf, fencing, tennis and golf.

Tri-City Fitness

    Oh Thanks for offering me details of New York summer camps, I have read your whole content and heartily appreciate you for including the details of Albany academies as I also live in New York and I wanted to know more about these academies for my child, really I am glad that these Albany academies hosts a wide variety of camps from ages Pre-K to 8th grade.     Heidi, I am from Schenectady, NY and I am a mother as well. I was wondering what restaurant you and your husband own. Great to know someone from my neighborhood is here online as well. This lens is very helpful and useful. I have taken my 2 year old to many of these places.
