Captain America Halloween Costume

Repeatedly rejected for military service due to his physical ailments, Steve Rodgers feels left out. All he wants is to serve his country, like his best friend Bucky. When he is approached by Dr. Erskine and admitted into the Strategic Scientific Reserve, Steve feels his luck has finally changed. When he is selected for a top secret project to create super soldiers, Dr Erskine makes Steve promise to remember who he is inside, not what he has become.

After an attack on the Strategic Scientific Reserve leaves the laboratory destroyed, Steve finds himself rejected again. "Enlisted" to encourage the sale of War Bonds, he finds himself becoming Captain America, a super hero of sorts, in the form of comic books and movie reels. On a USO tour of Italy, he discovers that Bucky, along with hundreds of other US troops, have been captured by HYDRA, the advance science and technology division of the Nazi Party. Led by Johann Schmidt, who was also changed by the same serum that changed Steve, Schmidt is obsessed with the occult and Teutonic myths that tell legends of men with god-like powers.

Steve, as Captain America, becomes a war hero and begins to serve on the front lines, fighting against HYDRA. During a show down, Johann Schmidt reveals himself to be the Red Skull, a twisted and deformed madman. Captain America is forced to stop the Red's Skull's plans to bomb the Eastern Seaboard but will he be forced to make the ultimate sacrifice?
