The very first Summer School lensmaking challenge #1 was this: We asked Giants to build a new, outrageous, funny, cute lens about yourself, your friends or your pet... with a twist. They had to use the brand new, just-released, Caption Contest module.

- I am excited about trying to play catch up in Summer School, but I am also taking each lesson seriously because there are some wonderful mentors.
When I first looked at this assignment I thought, "Cool! I get the chance to be funny." But, somewhere in the midst of digging through pictures, an idea that fueled by the lesson on the guestbook module struck me. By using the caption module and the guestbook module, I believe I have created a lens that may spark some discussion.
Time will tell how successful this one is, but I had a blast with it.

- Downloaded the new Firefox (thanks for the advice Loyalis!) and FINALLY got to see what all the fuss has been about. - I took a few days off for a mini vacation this past weekend and went to a location where I have captures Orbs on camera many times. When my old computer crashed I lost all of my orb photos. I was able to capture a couple of orbs once again, and made a lens about it for the first weeks challenge. I did add it to the list above. Now, that was a lot of fun as it is something that really does tickle my funny bones.

- Was fun homework. It made me think of the funny photos of cats bathing. I wanted to create a lens about how to bathe a cat but never got around to it. So thanks for motivating me!

- Morning! I did two lenses :-) One incorporating the Caption Contest module into a lens and the other where the majority of the lens uses the module. So I have added both - ope that's okay? :-)
