Maybe You Should Get A Bug Shield For Your Car
Throughout the United States you will find all different types of bugs. Some you will find are huge and others are a little smaller. No matter how you look at it, these bugs can do a number on your car. Now we are going to explain to you why a bug protector can help you protect your car from damage caused by these bugs.
However there is help for these problems when it comes to your car. I am sure many of you have had your windshield splattered with bugs to the extent that the windshield wipers and the windshield wiper fluid doesn't help. The other problem is the amount of bugs that get splattered on the hood of your car. The two choices you are left with are a car bra or a bug deflector. The only problem is that one of these solutions can actually end up causing more damage then it prevents.
When it comes to the car bra it can help keep the bugs off of the front part of your hood but what about the windshield? Car bras are a simple little device that wrap around the front of your car like a traditional bra. But when it comes to the windshield you won't get any protection from the car bra. Another thing you should know is that a car bra can keep moisture trapped within the bra itself. This can lead to rust being built up underneath the bra. Another problem with the car bra is that as you are driving the wind created will cause the bra to rub on the front of the car causing damage to the finish of the car. And if this goes on for too long you won't only cause damage to the finish but in time the bra will also end up going through the finish and causing even more rust issues.

Bug Shield | Bug Deflector
Your next option is a bug deflector also known as a bug shield. This type of protector offers a lot more protection than a bra and won't really help in causing rust. A bug deflector will go over the front part of the hood and redirects the wind to travel over your car instead of towards your windshield. This not only keeps the bugs off the hood of your car but off your windshield as well. The other thing about this type of unit is that it is solidly mounted on the hood of the car so you don't have to worry about the wind moving the unit and causing damage to the hood of the car.In short if you live in an area where there are a lot of bugs around and you don't want to end up damaging your hood, a bug defector can be the best option. You can also have these installed by professionals if you don't want to do it yourself. And for the most part wherever you purchase the bug protector, they should be able to install it for you.

- Most do-it-yourself kits sold in car shops and supermarkets come complete with manuals that detail application methods, while the cans or bottles themselves have the manufacturer's instructions printed on them. So there is little chance of anyone making a mess of it, as long as he can read the instructions.
