There is far more to buying a new car than just the purchase price. Consumers commonly make numerous car buying mistakes that when it's all said and done add an average of $5000 to the purchase price of their new car.

Things like agreeing to car dealer financing without shopping for current rates, agreeing to car dealer add-ons like paint sealant and undercoating, purchasing supplemental warranties that car owners rarely ever use are just some of the ways the consumer is overpaying for their new vehicle.

You must stop these bad practices now and I want to show you how to go about it. Hello, my name is Peter Humleker and I am former General Manager of a Car Dealership. I truly know all the car buying tricks to saving money when buying a new car. I want to educate you how car dealers make the greatest profit when selling a new car. Guess what, its not always on the price of the vehicle. Nowadays I teach people just like you on how to save money buying a new car and not fall victim to dealer markups and add-ons.

Car Buying Tricks #1 - Sticker Price vs Invoice Price

Do you know the difference between Sticker Price and Invoice Price?

Car Buying TricksThe Sticker Price is also referred to as the "M.S.R.P." which is short for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. This price is commonly found on the window of a new vehicle when looking to buy a new car. This is simply a suggested asking price not the price the Car Dealer paid for from the Car Manufacturer.

Many times a car dealer will mislead the car buyer in thinking the retail sticker price on the vehicle is the price the dealer paid for the vehicle form the manufacturer. Not true, the Invoice Price which they do not offer to reveal to you is more of an indication what they paid the manufacturer for the vehicle. Yet the Invoice Price does not reflect the numerous rebates and incentives the dealer receives from the car manufacturer.

Learn how to find the Invoice Price of any new vehicle. The Car Dealer hates this one but there is a way where you the average customer can obtain the actual Invoice price of the vehicle you intend to buy.

Do you know the difference between Front End Profit and Back End Profit?

Car Buying TricksMost people do not and here is where they are mislead in thinking they will buy a new car for a great price. You probably are familiar with Front End profit. This the the difference from which a car dealer buys the vehicle from the auto maker and sells it to you. Most car buyers focus on negotiating the total price of the car and think that is all they need to do. But the dealer adds on to the price with Back End Profit. Things like Gap Insurance, Supplemental Warranties, Undercoating all are pricey and added to the sales price negating the money you are saving on the Front End.

It is tactics like these that make you think you getting a great deal but in reality you are overpaying greatly for the vehicle.
