How to Save at the Gas Pump

Simple things like getting rid of the junk in your trunk and watching your speed have been proven to save on gas expenses. Here are more tips and tricks for saving at the gas pump.

The Price Of Gas Is No Laughing Matter

1. To reduce gas evaporation, buy gasoline when it's cooler during the day, like the early morning.

2. Buy your gasoline at the wholesale clubs, like Costco.

3, Don't buy higher octane gas than your car requires. If your car doesn't need it then you're just wasting your money.

4. Save money at the gas pump by using self-service whenever possible. Don't use full service if you don't have to.
