What is car tuning and why tune a car?

Cars are evolving from being a mere form of transportation to become a hobby, a fascination and even a science to many. Simple cars are now converted into monster racers and awesome machinery through a process known as car tuning. As the saying goes "If your car is not fast, then it better be good looking." Tuned cars are exceptional in their design, aerodynamics and performance. They are simply modified cars which are 'tuned' to perform and look like sports car. With that said, many will be asking the question, why bother to tune a perfectly fine car? The reason lies behind the high pricing of sports car in the market today. Sports cars and luxury cars are usually placed with high price tags and are almost impossible to be owned by regular earners. So, they turn to car tuning styles to increase the car's performance and looks by doing simple and affordable upgrades on regular cars to turn them into amazing tuned cars.

Feel the Roar of your Engine

If a car is unable to talk with the wind than I think that is not a car. That should be bullock cart. Just feel the speed, just feel the power, just feel the roar of your engine once and after that all other cars will be like a toy to you. You should give some muscles power to your car. Do the Car Tuning

What components are usually tuned in a car?

When it comes to car tuning, almost any part can be tuned for a car in multiple ways. This provides a unique choice for customers to choose amongst when tuning a car. The usual parts that are tuned are the wheels, the engine, the fuel valve, the cold air intake, the ECU, the body kits and the car lights. Other additional tunings such as car audio systems and neon additions are common too, but are more of a luxurious add-on rather than a compulsory one. custom wheels are fitted based on the preference of the owner, in where they can choose tires suitable for the road, off-road or even drifting. The engine and cold air intake system is also a crucial tuning part as it affects the overall performance of the car in the streets. Normal stock air intake systems are usually changed with cold air intake (cool, dense air), which is rich in oxygen to increase the combustion rate and torque production to give the machine an extra kick.

What kind of body kits should one choose when tuning a car?

Bear in mind that body kits such as front fenders, skirts, bumpers and spoilers are option al and are subjective to the car available. Not all cars look good with a complete body kit addition, so having an expert's advice when choosing a body kit set that suits the car is great. For example, an Audi TT is suitable with full body kits set whereas a Toyota Corolla AE86 is more of an internal tuning type which requires minimal body tuning. The body kit chosen is also crucial to the car's performance. The material used, be it fibre glass, carbon fibre, or even PU material are going to affect the aerodynamics surrounding the car and the overall weight of the car which will affect it'\s speed and torque on the road. A good balance between functionality and beauty is required when tuning a car with body kits.
