It varies from company and program. You get the free* car typically between 2 to 5 years. If you are using your own vehicle, it depends on the length of the program which can be anywhere from one month to 2 years.

Once the term is over, you can choose to drive a car sponsored by another company as many times as you'd like, subject to availability, or negotiate with the sponsor company to extend the terms.
