Quick and Easy Caramelized Bananas Recipe

Here's a perfect snack that you could prepare in less than 15 minutes and you would enjoy over quality time with friends and families. This has been my personal favorite since I was a kid because my mom would always make some for me. Since it's so quick and easy to prepare, this is what she would usually prepare for sudden and unexpected visitors.

I still can't get over the fact of how quick you can make this. No really, it's quick specially if you have a banana tree right outside your house. You're done by the time you finish saying "Caramelized Bananas Recipe"...okay maybe not THAT quick. But you can mark my word that this is one easy recipe that you can make out of a banana that even monkeys could make.

Alright to give you an idea of how easy this banana recipe is, you would only need 3 ingredients: love, peace and prosperity. Okay seriously (I don't want to annoy you any further), I'll provide all the information you need on this page for preparing these sweet banana fritters. So move it! Come on! Chop chop!

The Type of Banana to Use

For a better tasting caramelized banana dessert/snack.

Just a quick tip before you start buying your bananas if you don't have some yet. Make sure you get the shorter and fatter ones instead of the long and slim ones. Sorry for describing it merely based on appearance because I honestly don't know what each type of bananas are called. I've tried to make caramelized bananas with both types and I find the shorter and fatter bananas actually taste better and sweeter than the longer and slimmer bananas. Oh God this sounds so wrong...

Anyway that's just it for the quick tip. But you may use whatever you prefer to use or whatever is available in your fridge.

Update! The fat bananas that I'm talking about are actually called Plantain bananas. Special thanks to bakerwoman for the info.

Do you really have a banana tree outside your window. Some of my friends from the islands did, they said that they couldn't get over the fact that in this country we actually have to pay for bananas. One variation of this is to just bake a banana with a little brown sugar and butter added.
