Travelling with Caravan Blinds Down
Towing your caravan with the blinds down will prevent you from looking in your rear view mirror trying to see the road behind you. This may sound silly but it is advisable to learn to use your wing mirrors as soon as possible to help you become better at towing your caravan.
Leaving you blinds down may also be a way to arrive at your destination with a cool interior but with regards to the safety issue pointed out above driving with reflective windows can be hazardous or at least can upset other drivers.
The number one reason for towing a caravan with the blinds down must be so no one can see what's inside your caravan and be tempted to break in. There is another viewpoint on this and that is if people can't see what's inside something they are more likely to break in to find out, if they can see there is nothing they will move on to something else.
