Thinking about how we can achieve this we all should start to care about our carbon footprint (or as Australians may call it: carbon footie). Simply because it is an indicator how much carbon dioxide we as individuals are producing regarding our lifestyle (travelling, living etc.). Reducing your carbon footprint means emitting less carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Less carbon dioxide means less green house effect. Less greenhouse effect means lower global warming. Lower global warming means a better life for all of us on this planet.
So take the first step on a journey to save the planet from climate change. No one else can/will do this for you.
Checklist for reducing your carbon footprint
Carbons List
- Get the roof of your house insulated. That saves a lot on your energy bills and have a comfortable temperature in your house
- Use the power of the sun and put some solar panels on your roof. This way you reduce the needed amount of commercial energy (that is mainly produced in coal plants).
