Talking About Car Clubs
Many people think of the AAA (American Automobile Association) when they hear the words "car club." But the truth is that most car clubs are populated by passionate owners of a specific "breed" of car and provide social and educational outlets for those owners. If your spouse is tired of hearing about your latest mod or accessory, check out one of the below clubs to find more sympathetic ears.
For the most part, the lists below have been limited by my personal car preferences and the types of cars I see the most at the track. Feel free to suggest additional models or clubs in the guestbook below. Just know that I might not agree as to which cars deserve this level of enthusiasm!
Why join a club?
Clubs meet four basic needs for car enthusiasts. For many drivers, their primary function is social as they have regular events that provide opportunities to swap stories and show off your vehicles. Some clubs provide competitive outlets either through car shows or racing events. Clubs also serve as a crucial place for knowledge swapping and driver education. These are car enthusiasts, after all! They're looking for help improving their cars and learning to control them better. Car Clubs for International Models
