Water Supply For Your Christmas Tree 

Since water is the most important item to get the longest life out of your Christmas tree, a good Christmas tree stand is obligatory. When selecting a Christmas tree stand, find out the amount of water it can hold after the Christmas tree is put in. As some water will be displaced by the base of the tree it is important that the selection is not made based on the total volume it can hold. An average Christmas tree can absorb up to one gallon of water each day. It is important to check and refresh the water every day.

Safe Products For Christmas Tree Decoration 

Never use ornaments that have an open flame or candles for decoration. Also Christmas tree lights should be checked to ensure that bulbs are working properly, that the connections are intact and that no part of the electric cord is damaged.
