My Aquarium
I feel that I am now qualified to present this article about tropical fish. All of my fish are still alive!I started this hobby a couple of years ago. Now I wish to share with you the practical knowledge that I've gained with this experience.
I will explain everything in great detail about how to set up and maintain an awesome aquarium!
See the photos of my fish (below).
Setting up your Tropical Fish Aquarium
Before you put fish in your aquarium do the following:
Make sure there are NO LEAKS, if there is a leak use SILICONE to seal it.
Make really sure that there is enough support for the aquarium. It will weigh much more than you can imagine when it is filled with water!
You need:
---------Gravel to put on the bottom
---------Decorations and Plants
---------Filter (with pump)
---------Heater (with thermostat)
---------Thermometer
---------Light
Buy tropical fish food flakes, bloodworms and water conditioner.
Before you get fish, fill the aquarium and let the filter and heater work for a few days.
To clean the aquarium, you will need a cleaning siphon.
You will need to do a complete and thorough cleaning about every 2 months. Use javex bleach
(no, it won't hurt the fish) to soak everything 30 minutes. Rinse well.

Soak all ornaments in Javex Bleach (and hot water of course) for 30 minutes

Take FILTER apart completely to clean properly

Remove 1/3 of the water using a siphon like this, just pump it up and down.

Use these 3 products for your aquarium!
Wikipedia information
Tropical fish include fish found in tropical environments around the world, including both freshwater and salt water species. Fishkeepers often use the term tropical fish to refer only those requiring fresh water, with saltwater tropical fish referred to as marine fish.
Tropical fish are popular aquarium fish, due to their often bright coloration. In freshwater fish, this coloration typically derives from iridescence, while salt water fish are generally pigmented.
Tropical fish kept for home aquaria include the following:
* Wild-caught specimens.
* Single-species individuals born in captivity. The latter category includes lines selectively bred for special physical features, such as long fins, or particular colorations, such as albino.
* Hybrids of more than one species.
Recreational SCUBA divers are often enthusiasts of tropical fish as well. Some keep lists of fish species they have observed while diving, especially in tropical marine environments.

Dwarf Gourami

Angel Fish
My Tropical Fish Aquarium
The Zebra Danios are very active and incredibly hardy.
The Dwarf Gourami are beautiful yet tough as nails, they are really the rulers of the tank.
Of course the Angel fish are the highlight. They are awesome and very intelligent. When they see you enter the room, they react by trying to get your attention to feed them! Please be warned that they grow A LOT, they become HUGE! I'm not kidding, it's really unbelievable how they become frighteningly gigantic...
Don't get any cute smaller fish, they will get eaten! I don't car what the experts say, I know what I see with my own eyes.
