As much as possible, I avoid everthing made in China or third world countries were lack of rules and supervision leads to child labor, unsafe work condition, and a low quality and sometime dangerous products. Just recently, once again, a Gap workshop in Asia was caught using kids as cheap labor. Most major brand of course are doing this (think of any cool brand and most likely the workshops are in third world countries). But I named Gap because it was to most recent incident I could think of.Want to pay big money on designers? Then buy the one that are made in North America or Europe or Australia, New Zealand. Buy knowing from were it comes. Buy knowing that no 7 year old kid made your expensive item. Take time to reaserch before buying and make a real fashion statement. Stop going blindly where the latest fashion magazine told you to go or you may end up supporting child labor.
