Vampire Resurrection
by Carlotta G. Holton
Count Roget, a 500-year-old French vampire responsible for the deaths of the "lost" colonists in Roanoke during the 16th Century, is once again on the rampage in modern-day North Carolina. To satisfy his lust for blood and terror, he kills some individuals and turns others into blood-drinking zombies. Paige and Alex, two journalists with some history of their own, depend on a Native American shaman to help them stop the zombies and catch up with the Count after he flees the country. To stop him from spreading mayhem all over the world, they'll have to kill him... again.

Reviews of Vampire Resurrection
"Vampire Resurrection, reveals a gripping storyline which intertwines history and legend; creating a mysterious boundary between the living and the dead." - Brian Douglas Coyle, author of Soul Riders, The Devil's Sanctuary and Portrait of Greed.
"As in her earlier works, Salem Pact and Touching the Dead, Holton delivers another wickedly good page turner that readers can sink their teeth into. Putting a deliciously dark spin on what might have befallen the Lost Colony of Roanoke, she draws the battle lines between Jay Silver, a Native-American Indian and eerie Count Jean Phillipe Roget, a 400-year-old French vampire. The stakes are high as the town is menaced by the count's rising army of the undead and a revenge that transcends time. I loved the explosive ending! Keep writing Ms. Holton, you are a born storyteller!" - Jack Evans, WMBS-CBS, Uniontown, PA
"Riveting. I couldn't put it down. Vampire Resurrection evokes the kind of spine-chilling sense of evil I've experienced in my ghost-hunting investigations. I will never again be quite the same when I enter a cave. A gripping tale steeped in historical intrigue, ancient lore and hard-core horror. Great movie potential." - Jane Doherty, psychic, author and star of Dead Tenants on The Learning Channel.

Salem Pact
by Carlotta G. Holton
When an egocentric college professor gets permission to re-enact the infamous witchcraft trials of 1692 for the entertainment of visitors to historic Salem Village, a dramatic history lesson becomes a modern nightmare. Innocent people are accused of serving Satan and sentenced to all-too-real executions. Driven to desperation, a brave band of rebels takes a stand against the murderous professor. Aided by a 300-year-old spirit, the rebels struggle to prevent the horrific repetition of the village's sinister past. Reminiscent of the works of Stephen King and John Saul, Salem's Pact blends elements of the Gothic romance and historical tragedy into a terrifying witch's brew.Buy This Book

Really unique collection of horror stories. I've never heard of many of these superstitions. I especially liked the title story, it was downright creepy. Great writing, fantastic storytelling. I've read the book twice and will undoubtedly go back and re-read some of my favorites. I would love to see some of these stories made into a tv series. Looking forward to reading her next book, Vampire Resurrection.

In additional to reading both of her exceptionally well-written and extremely interestingfbooks, I was fortunate to have the author speak at my book club. Everybody was mesmerized and it was the talk of our club for months after and two people missed it and regretted it after hearing us talk about what an inspiring and informative and very interesting speaker Carlotta Holton was. I would strongly advize book clubs or any type of clubs to contact her to speak with them. I can not wait for her next book to come out because I like the way she is able to capture my attention within the first few pages and takes me into her fascinating world.
