- Carnegie Institute of Technology
- Carnegie Mellon's College of Engineering is a top ten engineering college offering graduate and undergraduate degree programs; known as CIT (Carnegie Institute of Technology) the college offers degrees in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil environmental engineering, electrical computer engineering, materials science engineering, engineering public policy, chemical engineering and information networking. The college is known for interdisciplinary research and acclaimed faculty, with a focus on innovation management and engineering for the global economy.
- College of Fine Arts
- The College of Fine Arts is a community of nationally and internationally recognized artists and professionals organized into five schools, Architecture, Art, Design, Drama and Music; and its associated centers and programs.
- College of Humanities and Social Sciences
- The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University offers a wide range of

and is committed to excellent undergraduate education as well as graduate education and research. - Heinz School of Public Policy and Management
- The Heinz School of Public Policy and Management is a vibrant center for the study of urban and social issues that impact society. Founded in 1968 at a time when the problems of society burst into public view in the form of violent urban unrest, the school set as its purpose an aggressive effort to understand the causes of critical social problems and to train men and women through masters and doctoral programs to use new knowledge and technology to bring about positive change.
