Carrie Prejean was born on May 13, 1987, in Vista, California, near San Diego.
Parents are Francine Coppola and William Prejean, divorced in 1998.
Graduated from Vista High School in 2005.
Attends San Diego Christian College.
Sister Christine, one year older, is an officer in the Air Force.

Carrie Prejean ran for Miss California Teen USA in 2005. She did not win, but was second runner up.

Carrie Prejean ran for Miss California USA in 2008, but again did not win, but was awarded third runner up. Apparently there was a scoring error, and Carrie was promoted to first runner up.

Carrie Prejean reentered the Miss California USA in 2009, and this time Carie won the title.

Carrie Prejean competed for Miss USA 2009 and was awarded first runner up.

Carrie Prejean competed on the Deal or No Deal Model Search Season 3 and was awarded first runner up.

Carrie Prejean was asked an on stage question by a gossip blogger Perez Hilton involving gay marriage. Carrie gave her personal opinion on how marriage should be between a man and a woman. She was booed originally, but after she finished her statement the audience applauded. Many believe this cost her a vote and only gave her runner up status for Miss USA 2009.

Carrie Prejean was prompted to appear in an ad supporting marriage between a man and a woman with the group The National Organization for Marriage.

When Carrie Prejean appeared on the Gospel Music Association's Dove Awards 2009 in Nashville, she received a standing ovation from the crowd. No doubt many supporting her position.

When Carrie Prejean was 17, had a photo shoot done of her in panties and bareback. Nothing more than you would see in a Sear's catalog. Normal lingerie modeling. Was 17 too young? Many have argued she showed more during the Miss USA pageant in the swimsuit competition. Apparently because she did not disclose these pictures she was in danger of losing her status as Miss California and runner up in Miss USA 2009. Miss Rhode Island also had what is called semi-nude photos, but she admitted to these before the contest. Carrie Prejean has denounced some of her photos on the web as being doctored.

Donald Trump, who has an ownership stake in the pageants, was debating whether to dismiss Carrie Prejean. However, he decided to keep Carrie's status intact. Donald Trump when remarking about Prejean's comments said, ""It's the same answer that the president of the United States gave, She gave an honorable answer. She gave an answer from her heart."

On May 13, 2009, Shanna Moakler resigned her position of co-director of the Miss California pageant over the controversy surrounding Carrie Prejean.

Due to Carrie Prejean not living up to her obligations with both Miss California and Miss USA, Donald trump has decided to "fire" her. Good riddance. Carrie Prejean is above this and will continue her success!
