Well done lens....It's interesting to see what's available in carry on luggage these days.

I bought one of the luggage display in this lens for a recent trip, and was pleased with how well it was constructed. It even had a nice interior cover that can be zipped over your clothes and includes a sort of compression strap system that was helpful in getting everything packed in there.

I wondered who designed the first suitcase with wheels. Good to know the airline restrictions for carry on bags, too.

Great information. You can tell you put a lot of time in this lens with all the links. It is a terrible feeling when you see you have gone over and you either have to check it under the plane (possibly paying a fee), or scrambling around in the X-Ray line trying to put on another sweater. =)

Great reviews. I love a size smaller than the allowed carry on and something with 4 wheels. Makes it easy to handle.

Wonderful article. I always trusted american tourister for my luggage as they give 18 months warranty. Definitely worth a try

I hate checking my luggage in! So many benefits to caryy on luggage. Great lens. Hopefully, it will convince more people to cary on ;)

I'm a very light packer when I travel so fortunately I only use a carry on. Congratulations on making the list of The Best Squidoo Intros Ever!

Great information and I especially like that you give the carry on luggage restrictions by airline. Congrats on making The Best Squidoo Intros Ever list.

Congratulations on your intro being chosen one of the top 35 on Squidoo. And the rest of the lens is great too.

Lots of information brought together nicely, not just about carry-on bags but also about the restrictions on such bags at various airlines.

Great lens but I am still a big fan of this jeep brand roll bag that i have abused for years

Well done lens, and very timely with all the new luggage fees from airlines. Blessed by a SquidAngel.

Very comprehensive review! What's your preference? Soft side or hard side? Personally I like the outside pockets. What's the latest on the hibrids?

Great suggestions. I tend to use a backpack. I like all the pockets, and it's handy to carry (just throw it over a shoulder). But, you feature some very attractive options here. I'll have to keep these in mind. Thanks for sharing.
