Haul Your Dirt Bike With That Old and Icky Van...
No more need for a trailer or truck to haul your dirt bike to the track. If it's just one, or even two bikes, there's a way to carry them with a beat up race-van. That's right, instead of spending your hard-earned cash on on pimping out a truck, you could spend it on maintaining your dirt bike and still get to the track.
Carry Your Dirt Bike On a Hitch Rail
Do you have a truck and a trailer? How about just a truck? Or even a van?! Any of these can be used to Haul Your Dirt Bike to the track or trails. But, maybe you don't have the funds right now to buy a truck and/or trailer. Well, this is your chance to use a van or SUV to haul your dirt bike(s) with a hitch mount. A Dirt Bike Carrier is able to mount into the hitch of your vehicle, even if it's a van or SUV. They are light-weight, installation is simple, and it allows you to throw all of your gear and parts in the vehicle.
As much as I like hauling my bikes on a three-rail motorcycle trailer, it can be a pain to pull it in and out of places, especially if it's narrow and you have to back up (not saying I can't though!). I would just rather have a hitch carrier on my van if I'm taking one dirt bike to the track. That way I don't have to worry about towing or knifing a trailer.
If I have two bikes to haul, though, then I can just hook up a Double Motorcycle Carrier. It's not much heavier than the single rail since the material is light weight aircraft aluminum. If you have a vehicle and hitch that can carry the load, this carrier will haul two motocross bikes to the races!
It's not only is it easier to haul bikes with a hitch carrier, it gives you more room to carry things as well. If you haul your bikes with the hitch carrier on the back of an SUV or van then there's a lot of space inside to put your gear and your friends! If you have the carrier on a truck hitch, you can still toss all of your equipment in the bed, leaving you with more room in the cab.
So if you don't mind tossing your dirt bike(s) up on the rear-end of your vehicle, a dirt bike carrier is a great way to go, and is a fraction of the cost of buying a new truck or trailer. Good luck!
