I loved the old Carry On movies - they used to show them at my primary school on the last day of term - can you imagine that in the 60s. Then, when I was a student, I used to see Kenneth Williams walk by my halls of residence on the way from his flat in Regent's Park to do his voice over sessions in Soho - he just looked so miserable.

Always loved the Carry Ons. Met Babs last year and she was just as you imagine she would be. ''Allo darlin''' etc... :-)

Great lens. The Carry On films were a phenomenon of their time. They packed out the UK cinemas.

I had forgotten about these and really could not have thought of the title. My aunt loved the Brits and always had one going in the evening. Great sense of humor.

Weren't they fantastic? Well done on a real nostalgia trip, well-deserving of its Purple Star.

This series of movies take me back to my formative years and are rightfully part of my British comedy heritage. Seeing Kenneth Williams again reminded me of listening to him on the radio programme Just A Minute. He was hysterical on that too! *Blessed*

Nice! I enjoyed this lens very much. I have heard about the Carry on Film from my parents long ago but not much has been said about it until now.

This lens- what a carry on! (This is one well built lens).
Ah, those Carry On films- a mixed bag yet I feel sentimental when I see them because, like many Brits, grew up seeing the various characters who were really extensions of the comedy actors playing them.

I love the Carry On films. Living in the US now means that it is a while since I have seen any (we don't get those repeats on BBC2 here)!

Great lens. I know on the Hot Fuzz Dvd they mention the Carry On movies and Hammer films several times. I'm familiar with a few Hammer pictures, but was curious about Carry On films.
