    Thanks for all the well researched information. I take panoramic photos as a hobby and this has helped me out with my quest of getting some new equipment. I have a few panos with my current camera which is a Canon EOS 45D that can be seen on this Virtual Tour Software website and I'm sure with the info you have supplied here I am going to get some more panos on this site. Thanks for all the info.

    Great information on one of the most important aspects of advertising a property. I firmly believe that good photos are the #1 marketing tool we use to sell a home. Unfortunately there are lots of people out there taking terrible photos of homes - I wish more would visit this lens.

    That is so true! A picture is worth a thousand words. You don't know how many listings I have seen with poor quality pictures. Or, poor home staging will kill your picture too. Kudos

    I think it's great that you are posting tips. I have been shooting tours in Alaska for years and want your readers to know about cold weather shoots. I try to avoid extreme cold but I have shot at 20 below. The main tip is to shoot the exterior tours last. If you don't your lens will condensate and you'll most like have to clean the water off before shooting the interior. I charge by the image so wasted time is not in my best interest. My Canon manual says not to shoot below 32 degrees but I can't wait for spring to do my work. You have to be set up and move quickly but it can be done.

    Thanks for this collection of great information! You're exactly correct - a good photo makes all the difference. Especially in this market where buyers have hundreds of homes to choose from, and in many cases, you've only got about half a second to catch their attention as their browsing through their options looking only at photos that catch their eye.
