Pedders Suspension
Handling and performance... two words that have had little to do with the Suzuki Mighty Boy.
Driving the Mighty Boy is a novel experience. It's feels like driving a dodgem car. It takes great constraint when driving through a shopping centre carpark to letting loose and smashing into other vehicles because it feels like the right thing to do.
On our list of things to do though was suspension and struts, and the first business that came to mind was Pedders to do the job.
Mick Grace at Pedders Gateshead was up to the challenge. I will be listing all the work they've done once I've sorted through this mind blowing experience, but in addition to the suspension, struts and bushes and some other part which required some modification to fit the little Mighty Beast he also worked on the front brakes.
In the meantime I'm posting a few photos of our first visit there taken from the car park.

Maybe it's just me, but sometimes when I'm driving, and especially when I'm alone and I do a lot of thinking, I imagine what it would be like to have a tyre blow out and how I'd react. Yes, I have a vivid imagination. But really, what would it be like...
