Play Cash Cab With Me

It's easy:

(1) You get in the Cab, and the Lights go off...well, you're now on a game show

(2) You have to answer a series of questions of different dollar values until you get to your destination.

(3) If you get three wrong answers, or "three strikes", you have to exit the cab at that point (before your destination)

(4) Questions have money values; generally the first four questions are $25 questions, the next four are $50 questions and thereafter $100.

(5) In most versions of the game, you get 3 Life Lines: "A Mobile Shout-Out", "A Street Shout-Out" and a "Swap-Out" where you can opt for a new question.

Note: The Red-Light Challenge allows players to win money without having to worry about a strike if they get the question wrong, and you guessed it, it happens.

Well it originated in the United Kingdom and now many countries have their own version of Cash Cab.

As an example, the Canadian version of Cash Cab tends to take place mostly in Toronto, Ontario with questions worth $25, $50, $100 and the Red Light Challenge questions worth $75.

There are several locations in the USA where Cash Cab takes place, including Chicago, New York and sometimes Las Vegas. Beginning in Season three in the US question prices were doubled to $50, $100, $200. In season four, these amounts reverted back to "Double Rides" only; Meaning if the ride was pre-designated a "double ride" by the show, then these amounts were applied, otherwise it was the regular amounts.

Each country that Cash Cab appears in has slightly different versions. For example in Japan, one of the "Saves" is a "Bookstore Chance" where players can pull up in front of bookstore, run in and buy a book to help them answer a question. This "save" is not in the Canadian or USA version.
