Cash Gifting Programs are a great way to make money with a home based business. I know because I have been making money through a cash gifting program myself, and I investigated dozens of these programs for many month before finally joining one.

BUT you need to know these 3 important things BEFORE you join:

1) Cash Investment: You must have a some amount of money to start with
2) Effort: You must give a reasonable amount of effort

First, let's talk about the investment in these programs. Most programs require an initial investment at one of three levels: $500, $1,500 or $3,500.

Some programs have levels that are $3,000, $6,000 or $18,000. And some other programs have 4 levels that may go higher. No matter what the actual amounts, they all operate on the same principle.

Whichever level you decide to join at, that basically determines how much money you will get to receive when you begin getting gifts from other people. So the more money you invest, the more you will be able to get. This is the real beauty of the program, getting multiple cash gifts of $3,500 delivered to your door in a week.

Important: You can start at any level, and always move up the levels when you get more money to invest.

I've gotten many emails and calls from people who must think there are programs out there, where you don't have to do anything at all to make money.

More often than not, every money making opportunity uses hype to try to sell you. In that hype, there can be exaggerations, and things left out (omissions).

If you are going to join one of these programs, mine is probably the safest bet.

As many people know, Google Adwords is a great place to start your marketing campaigns. There are some advantages and disadvantages to using AdWords. But it can be a great first campaign until your other efforts are built up.

Advantages:
- Fast Start. You can have email leads, calls and even new members within minutes. I restarted a certain campaign recently, and within 10 minutes I had a call from those ads.
- Targeted leads. Adwords is one of the best places to get people who are in your exact target, but who are also likely in a purchasing cycle, and ready to make a decision.
- Control. You can target certain cities/states/countries, you can only run ads during certain hours, or run ads only in the search network, limit your bid by word, or limit your daily budget, and try out various ads to see which work best.

Disadvantages:
- Costly. Especially if you don't have very much experience. You could end up spending way more money than you have to.
- Cost per click. What I mean is that while you pay, you get clicks, the minute you stop paying, your clicks stop. There is no residual benefit if you do not pay.
- Takes practice to get it right. There are many things you can do to reduce the cost of Adwords while not reducing the amount of clicks you get.

Search engines love article websites, blogs, and any other type site where the content is good, and refreshed often.

Anybody should be able to write unique articles about their subject matter. It is best to have an uncommon or unique angle, while still being able to use some popular keywords.

Beware: do not copy and paste the same article to multiple sites, including your own. Google doesn't like duplicate content and may penalize one or both sites.

After a while your articles, blogs and Squidoo lenses will begin landing in top spots on organic Google searches and begin sending leads to your pages.

Once this is built sufficiently, you can start to reduce the amount you spend on Google AdWords.

There are many places to buy email lists from. Do a search on direct email lists, or email list rental and you'll get many results.

Of course there is a lot that can be done incorrectly for someone who doesn't have experience in this area, and money can be wasted easily. Work with an experienced marketer for your own safety.

A 25 year old high school graduate will NOT have the necessary experience in all these areas and more that you will want to use.

It has taken me 20 years to master the Art and Science of Marketing. Even many new techniques are variations on established techniques and can be better leveraged by someone with experience in the field.

In my research and evaluation of the few dozen opportunities, I found a few thing that I would watch out for:

- Young Entrepreneurs: Many will have their picture, age or years of experience somewhere on their site. It may seem like "if this young guy can make so much money, he must be a genius", but believe me, that is almost always opposite of the truth. - Replicated Website: There are BAD! Please be careful if they give you a complete website so "you don't have to make your own"! Google penalizes duplicate content really bad, so your website will never get Google ranking. It's more work, but it's MUCH BETTER to create your own website with unique content.

- The Expensive Programs: The programs that go to $6,000 or $18,000 are not right for first timers.
