Davis Grey vs. Howard Lederer: Lederer is a vegetarian and Davis bet him $10,000 if he would eat a cheeseburger. Lederer didn't bat an eye, and instantaneously became richer. Lederer is also aware that Davis despises olives, so he returned the bet and challenged Davis to eat olives. At this point, Davis Grey has refused, but the bet remains an open one.

Doyle Brunson vs. Poker Players et al: Brunson is a "Walk of Fame" poker inductee, and is renowned for his fondness for food. In 2003, Brunson was offered a $100,000 bet at 10:1 odds if he could lose enough weight to tip the scales at below 300 pounds. By using Weight Watchers and the Atkins Diet, Brunson met the challenge of the scales, and took home a cool $1 million.

Ted Forrest vs. Jennifer Harman Traniello: Forrest is a well-known guesser of peoples' weight, and has done very well in wagering on that subject over the years. A few years ago, he challenged women's poker star, Jennifer Harman Traniello, to a weight guessing contest. Forrest beat her in the contest. John Hennigan vs. Poker Players et al: Hennigan is a renowned big city aficionado, and he despises small town life. A group of poker players wagered an unsubstantiated amount of money, believed to be around $100,000, if he could spend six weeks in Des Moines, Iowa. He lost the bet after two days, and immediately returned to the bright lights of the Vegas strip.

Phil Hellmuth vs. Huck Seed: These two buddies know each other very well, and Hellmuth wagered Huck that, for $50,000, Huck couldn't stand in the waters of the Pacific Ocean up to his shoulders for 18 hours. Huck, never one to back down from a challenge, gladly took the bet to his chagrin. He lasted less than three hours in the waters of the Pacific before he withdrew from the Ocean.
