Casino Royale - The 21st james bond film with a Blond Bond

In 1953 Ian Flemming wrote casino royal now 53 years later it hits the big screen with a new bond. All the silly gadjets and unbelievable plots have disappeared and made way for the new look back to the basics bond.
The new bond has been born again and the worlds coolest, most lethal agent is back . The pre-film media did not like the new bond, in fact they said the film would flop, bond could never be blond and Daniel Craig was unsuitable for the role.
This has all been proved untrue, when the film opened all over the world all the critics had to eat humble pie as Daniel Craig proved he had what it takes to be the new bond, in fact a lot of people believe he is the best bond ever or at least as good as Sean Connery.

Bond = Girls, Action, Cars and Fights

In Casino Royale we see Bond as a brand new agent on his first mission. The mission is to bankrupt a rouge financier named Le Chiffre in a game of high-stakes poker. There is a great piece of reverse role play when instead of the beautiful girl appearing out of the water in a bikini you get Bond in figure hugging swimwear. The fight scenes are more convincing and Bond is frequently hurt, there's lots of blood, sweat and tears. Bond fans will be relieved to know the pretty girls are still much in evidence with Eva Green, Caterina Murino and Ivana Milicevic to name a few.

The great stunts are still there and still plentiful but more realistic, the sinking of the Venetian palazzo was the biggest stunt rig in 007 history and it leaves everyone shaken and stirred. The Bond car is always a winner and this time he goes for the good old Aston Marin's new DBS with its 6 litre 530 bhp top speed of 200mph, the only problem is they destroy it pretty quickly. This film has everything fights, cars, girls and plenty of action. A great film and will very quickly become a classic bond film as with all other James Bond films.

Daniel Craig - Is the new Bond

Daniel Craig is the new Bond 007 Britain's coolest agent. He was upbringing was strictly middleclass, his father a landlord and his mother a teacher. He lived in Liverpool then the Wirral and left school with no qualifications at all, but on moving to London he joined the National youth Theatre. His film career began with the 1992 film The Power Of One, but it was not until the BBC2 drama Our Friends In The North that he became well known. Since then he has had Roles in Lara Croft - Tomb Raider, Road To Perdition, Layer Cake, Love Is The Devil - Study for a portrait of francis bacon, The Trench, Hotel Splendide, Some Voices, Sylvia, The Mother, Enduring Love, Munich, The Jacket, Infamous and of course Casino Royale. He has signed up initially to 3 Bond films and will soon be donning the dinner jacket for the 22nd bond film due out in 2008.
