Casio Edifice Black Label Watches

In 2011 Casio launched its newest watch series, Edifice Black Label. Casio Edifice Black Label watches is a sport watch series featuring a multifunction analog/digital movement as well as a striking multi-layered dial.

The Edifice series currently consists essentially of twelve models divided among the 'Black Label' and 'Silver Collection'. Some of the more impressive features found in some, but not all of the watches in the Edifice series includes Casio's 'Tough Solar', 1/1000 second chronograph and 6 band atomic timekeeping to receive atomic clock signals in the US, UK, Germany, Japan and China.

Model EQWM1100DC-1A2 from the Casio Edifice Black Label series features a striking, yet functional 3D dial design, black IP stainless steel case and band, aluminum double disk hands and a 5 motor movement to drive each function including a 1/1000 second chronograph. Watch synchs automatically with atomic clocks transmitters in the US, UK, Germany, Japan and China. Also features Casio 'Tough Solar' power, and world time for 29 cities around the globe.

The EQS500 Series from the Casio Edifice collection comes in two versions, a black IP over stainless steel with rubber strap, model EQS500C-1A1, or a stainless steel with bracelet model EQS500DB-1A1. Both feature solar power, 100 meters water resistance, world time for 29 global cities and a 1/100 second chronograph.

Casio Edifice EFA131 Series

1/1000 Second Chronograph - 48 City World Time + UTC

Both models in the Casio Edifice EFA131 Series, model EFA131BK-1AV, right and model EFA131PB-1AV, left, feature a 1/1000 second chronograph which coupled with a speed indicator, can measure miles or kilometer per hour. Presumably this involves measuring time over a predetermined distance.

EFA131 also features worldtime for 48 preset cities and 5 daily alarms.

MSRP for model EFA131PB-1AV is $150 USD and model EFA131BK-1AV is $200 USD. The price is higher for EFA131BK-1AV because of the metal bracelet.

The Casio Edifice EFA132 series consists of two models, model EFA132BK-1AV (above, left) and model EFA132PB-1AV (above right). A great racing watch the series features dual 1/100 second chronographs with 100 lap memory, countdown timer, thermometer and great looking multilayer dial. The only difference between the two models is dial color, and a steel bracelet vs. rubber strap.
