Casio Watches

Casio did not start life making watches, in fact they started in 1946 in tokyo making calculators and by 1965 they were exporting the desktop calculator overseas. In 1972 they released the scientific calculator.

It was in 1974 they produced the worlds first wristwatch called the "Casiotron". In 1983 saw the emergance of the famous G-Shock and by 1984 they produced a watch with a databank for telephone numbers.

In 1989 they released a digital watch which had weather prediction sensors on it. 1994 Saw the emergance of the Baby G-Shock for women. In 1999 they produced the worlds first GPS wristwatch and In 2002 "THE G" the ultimate G-Shock watch was produced. Casio are known for producing good qualilty digital watches, the G-Shock are used by the military forces all over the world because they are so robust and reliable.
