Casting Crowns is a Christian Music band that consists of Hector Cervantes (guitar/vocals)
Juan DeVevo (guitar/vocals)
Melodee DeVevo (violin/vocals)
Megan Garrett (piano/vocals)
Mark Hall (lead vocals)
Chris Huffman (bass)
Andy Williams (drums)

The members of Casting Crowns are currently ministers at Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, GA - south of Atlanta - where the band plays during youth service.

Casting Crowns - The Debut Album

Casting Crowns debut album 'Casting Crowns' which was released on September 30th 2003 was certified RIAA Gold in July 2004, and Platinum in February 2005. The album spent 104 weeks on the Hot Christian Albums chart and 88 weeks on the Billboard 200 Albums chart where it peaked at #59.

Three of the tracks were released as singles, namely 'If We Are The Body', 'Who Am I?' and 'Voice of Truth'

It spent 104 weeks on the Hot Christian Albums chart and 75 weeks on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. The album was certified RIAA Gold in December 2005 and RIAA Platinum in February 2007.

The Altar and The Door

Casting Crowns latest album is 'The Altar and The Door' which was released August 2007. It made its debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, the highest ever debut for a Christian artist without any crossover promotion. It was certified Gold just ten weeks after it came out.

Two tracks so far have been released as singles - 'East To West' and 'Every Man' - while 'Slow Fade' features on the upcoming movie 'Fireproof'.
