My Favorite Casting Crowns Songs

I have so many favorites, it would be hard to name them all. It's amazing how great these songs are, and how God uses them in my life. I think the first song of their's I ever heard was "East to West" and it is about how God has promised to forgive us of our sins and to remove them as far as the east is from the west. Psalms 103:12.

Another favorite of mine is "Praise You In This Storm". I heard this song when I was going through a really hard time, and I felt like I just wanted to quit at life. But this song encouraged me so much, by reminding me that God is always right there. And He places trials in our lives for a reason. When something hard comes into our lives, it doesn't mean that God doesn't love us or that He isn't listening to us. He's right there and will never leave our sides. He has a plan for it all.

"Who Am I" is great one. It reminds us how unworthy we are of such a loving God. Who are we that God still loves us and cares for us when we let Him down? Who are we that God, the Creator of EVERYTHING, desires to have a relationship with us? Who are we that God cares about our hurting?

"Slow Fade" reminds us how easy it is to fall into sin. All it takes is one bad thing to slowly become even worse. You never become a bad person in just one day. An alcoholic never becomes on the FIRST time he has a drink. A family is never ruined in one day.

"Does Anybody Hear Her" is a truly amazing song. How often do we pass by people in life and don't even stop to think about if they are saved or not? Not everyone is going to come up to us Christians and ask us how to be saved. We have to find them! Are we looking?

"Somewhere In the Middle" feels like my life song sometime. Have you ever noticed how easy it is to make decisions at the altar at church, but its like somewhere between the altar and the door, we get stuck and forget out decisions. Ever had that happen to you? This song relates to that and encourages us to not be caught in the middle.

"Lifesong". speaking of life songs... Lifesong is amazing! What is our life about? It's about living for God and making decisions that please Him and doing His will. I want everything in my life to glorify Him. Every thought, every decision, and every song... everything. I want every part of my lifesong to glorify my Jesus Who died for me.

Love the Lens, I know the song "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" sounds wintery and many might think it should just come out at Christmas time but the song is so beautiful. There is a great video at Youtube if you do a search. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7670CXvPX0
