From what I've heard, Braid is a more orginal puzzle game, but it's pretty short and has zero replayability. Castle Crashers, meanwhile might not be as orginal, but is fun and very well done and replayable up the wazoo.

And the XBLA Game of the Year goes to...
In the battle for Xbox Live Arcade domination for 2008 it came down to two titles: our beloved Castle Crashers and Super Street Fighter II HD Remix. In the end CC walked away with bragging rights and the Game of the Year award. In a contest voted on by the players themselves, CC also won for best co-op mode and best original game, while HDR won for best remake, best versus mode and best graphics.

CC is definitely a fun game, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it the 'Live' Game of the Year. I would of personally went with Bionic Commando: Rearmed. If there was a category for 'glitched' Game of the Year then it should of won hands down.
