CAT HEALTH SWOLLEN PAW - What Could It Mean?
Have you ever wondered what to do about cat health swollen paw? The truth is I have. I have a cat (actually I have three) and her cat health swollen paw used to drive me to the vet and to the bank. I tried to do research on it but all I could find was sympathetic diagnosis and then advice to see a vet. Alas my cat health swollen paw was driving me both crazy and to the poor house.
Then I found a solution to what to do about cat health swollen paw. I found a wonderful book by Dr. Andrew Jones, a Canadian veterinarian, called Veterinary Secrets Revealed . In less than 24 hours I was able to diagnose and treat with a natural and effective solution one of my cats more troublesome cat health questions and at $47 it was a lot cheaper than my local vet. Cat health swollen paw has not been a problem since I bought Dr. Jones' book. On top of that it was loaded with thousands of natural solutions and unique twists for cat health question that have worked like magic for me and saved me hundreds of dollars to boot.
Of all the books on cat health question on the market, this one, in my opinion, is the most effective that I've found for diagnosing cat health swollen paw and it was written by a real veterinarian. CAT HEALTH SWOLLEN PAW and my cat Max
One day we got back to the house and the little fellow's paw is all swollen. Oh man, another pet health problem. What I use to do was get all frantic and head of to the vet but by this time I had discovered Veterinary Secrets Revealed by Dr. Andrew Jones. So I pull out my copy and look up cat health swollen paw. This is what I discovered.
I picked up Max and felt her paw. She didn't seem to have much pain. She said it was a bit uncomfortable but didn't hurt that much. That made me feel better. I knew not to give her aspirin or Tylenol. Cats in general are very sensitive to these types of painkillers and Tylenol even in a very small does can kill them. But because there didn't seem to be much pain I wasn't even tempted to go down that road.
So what about that swelling of the soft tissue on the paw? I discovered that lots of things can cause the swelling. Insect bites are a big one. Both cats and dogs seem to be prone to insect bits; dogs on their mouths from snapping at the insect, cats on their paws from swatting. Bees will get them good and although there is the initial sting and quick swelling there doesn't tend to be a lot of residual pain. Good place to start with Max. A lot of swelling seemed to indicate an allergic reaction, as long as there isn't the onset of infection the swelling should go down again rather quickly, 24 hours or so. Perhaps a wait and see strategy should be used.
We didn't live in an area that had scorpions so I felt alright there but spiders and other insects of course were plentiful. The lack of pain seemed to indicate that it wasn't one of these. More pain would've put us down a different road - probably the road to the vet.
I also checked out her paw for a possible puncture or other trauma that could have caused the swelling. The lack of pain seemed to indicate otherwise but I gave her a quick look over - nothing. If there had been I would at least be on the phone with my vet to alert him what had happened.
In the end Max and I decided to wait and see in this case. We served up a light snack, curled up on the couch and took a nap. The next day the swelling was almost gone and Max and I took off to do some work in the barn. Another medical emergency averted.
I was grateful to have a copy of Dr. Jones' book to guide me rather than having to go to the vet initially and would highly recommend a copy to both dog and pet owners. It is a small investment that can save you thousands over time. He offers a free book that is a must for sure. You can get more information here: Veterinary Secrets Revealed
