I know that my cats love toys and catnip. So basically there is no reason to be stumped as your cat likes the same thing for Christmas that they like all the rest of the year. They appreciate fresh water, clean litter, good food and a bit of a scratch behind their ears. Not to mention a bit of stroking from head-to-tail and purring as they are cuddling on top of you. Of course the obvious gift for any cat gifting occasion would be a touch of catnip in a stuffed toy or rubbed into their scratching post. My cat lets me know she is happy when she just rolls all over the catnip area and begins to drool and purr.
I am unsure if you are aware of this, but I understand that cats appear to enjoy honeysuckle. I have not tried this yet so I think that will be my Christmas present for my little fur ball. I think when it is all said and done, the cheapest and funniest present is just to let the cat play in the discarded wrapping paper on Christmas morning. I know it is one of the funniest sites I have witnessed in a long time. We just love watching the cat run through the paper strewn throughout the floor attacking the wrapping paper piles. If you have a new kitten then you are in for a real treat here, but even my old maiden cats throw off their dignified act and once the gifts are opened, they are caught diving and scattering wrapping paper or found hopping into and out of gift boxes with glee.
