Cat Urinary Tract Infection Symptoms and Causes
Cat Urinary Tract Infection Food
It is important to consult a registered Veterinarian if you have any concerns about your pet in order to rule out the worst causes (genetic, cancer, etc.). Most likely your Vet will advise a change of diet and will probably offer to sell you all sorts of cat urinary tract infection food. What the pet doctor prescribes at this point, is usually (not always) for his or her own profit and gain. If the product your veterinarian is selling you is reasonable priced and convenient, then go for it. Otherwise all you need is a reasonable mid range wet canned cat food where muscle meat is the very first ingredient (NOT organ meat like liver). This would be something like "lamb", "chicken", or "turkey". Cat Urinary Tract Infection Symptoms Checklist
1. Your cat starts to pee in places other than the litter box.
2. Your cat's urine has a powerful and/or ammonia like odor.
3. Your cat strains to urinate and/or cries during.
4. There is blood in your cat's urine.
These are general warning signs for urinary infection in cats and they should be taken seriously. If not managed for too long it can lead to trauma, a coma, and eventually death in severe cases. If you see symptoms your cat may have a urinary tract infection then switch to a non-dry better quality wet canned cat food promptly. You may also want to consider a homeopathic remedy that works quickly.
WHAT TO DO
A. If your cat has just started to show symptoms then switching to a better cat food should make it go away in less than 10 days.
B. If your cat has had symptoms for almost a month and you're just figuring it out now, then see your vet immediately.
C. If a change of diet and the homeopathic remedy didn't help, then most likely your cat requires surgery. Consult your Veterinarian.
D. If your cat is a male and in obvious pain, then consult your vet.
Also consider learning whats in your cats food, as a poor diet is usually the cause of a urinary tract infection.

- it works
After two expensive visits to the vet for urinary tract blockage of our male cat, we heard about this product from a lady in the Bahamas. She looks after stray cats and told us that after administering these supplements, the male urinary problems they had been experiencing were eliminated. We took her advice and now, three years later, have not had a problem with our cat. These tablets have saved us a lot of money and our cat a lot of pain and agony. Highly recommended!!

Cat Urinary Tract Infection Brief Outline
1. A bad diet can lead to higher concentrations of minerals in the urine and can cause a build-up in your cat's bladder.2. A diet too high in magnesium. This is typically associated with fish flavored foods. Avoid them.
3. A lack of water. Basic drinking water is free, so please give your cat plenty.
4. Hereditary or anatomical abnormalities. This usually requires surgery.
5. Male cats are far more prone to infection due to a smaller size urethra.
Aside from the abnormalities or birth defects, a cat's urinary tract infection is almost always a result of poor diet. Better food means a better cat. Switching to a better quality food should clear up this problem in under 10 days. If problems persist please consult a veterinarian.
