What Effect it has on the Eyes
There are many types of cataracts. Some have little effect on vision but others can a detrimental effect on eye sight. One good thing about cataracts is that they can be removed. Once it is removed vision is normally pretty good unless there are other circumstances that are causing decrease vision. Macular degeneration, diabetic retinapathy, scar tissue in fovea area, glaucoma and a few other things may not improve vision after cataract removal. Word to the wise...Have an eye exam annually
