Cat Behaviour

Now here's a little story about one of my cats. Pipsqueak to be precise.

It was a warm sunny day and being here in Spain our front door has a glass side panel that you can open to let some fresh air in. Pipsqueak was always sitting by the glass panel and staring outside, when we open up the panel he always creeps out and sits on the door step until he hears someone coming. He then hops it as quick as he can back inside the house (the original scaredy cat!).

Anyway this particular day we had the panel open to let some fresh air into the house, Pipsqueak was not around at the time. We was about to have dinner so we closed the glass panel on the door because we cannot see the front door from our dining table. Pipsqueak ventured down the stairs, must of been the smell of dinner tempting him, he then decided to use our settee as a scratching post.

I promptly ran over to him to stop him, blocking the exit up the stairs on the way, so he decided to make a run for it towards the front door and the glass panel that he thought was open. Needless to say that he bounced back towards quicker than he ran to the glass pane. It was really quite funny. The only thing that was hurt was his pride!
