    I have read enough blogs and articles to understand the issues. But what is also clear is that cats living in home don't just transmit diseases via their poop. They are spreading the parasite other routes. The other human residents also become carriers for the T.gandii as well via contact with your pets. This is fine for most of us (pregnant women and immune suppressed eople not withstanding). So actually human poop in these cat houselholds can also act as a transmitter of the disease. Now if we take it to the logical consequence, we should not be pooping in the toilets ourselves. SO is this whole issue of not flushing cat feces just a tip to the iceberg. to really reduce the incidence of transmission, maybe cats should not be around. Not exactly a popular opinion.

    I have a cat, and live near both the Atlantic and the Chesapeake Bay. Thanks for the info, as I had no idea of cat poo's impact. I'll be sure to trash it from now on! Excellent lenses, BTW...
