Catholic/Christian Values Help Families Become Stronger

Being a child today society could mean that you may grow up in a family that has little or no core values. Sure we all know that it is not right to kill and steal, but what about how we treat other people that we come into contact with. A little boy (5 years of age) the other day past me by on the sidewalk and practically bulled me to walk in the grass. I simply said "excuse me" and all I got in return was the middle finger. What did I do to deserve that kind of interaction? This was a five year old of course and it got me wondering about the environment that he must be living in. It is not like I was walking in a tough neighborhood. This was a middle class area with ward working families.

After a little thought, I would have to conclude that parents are just not raising their children with the same morals and manners that once existed in a majority of families. This has become a "ME" society. Everything is about what we can do to better ourselves and not the community. And that is why it is so important that religious values have to return to the family in order to stop the hatred that is growing in today's youth.

Praying Can Help Your Family Heal

Praying may feel like a private thing that we feel we must do to talk with the Lord. But a family that prays together will learn to heal together. I am one of those Catholics that have all my prayers on my personal MP3 player for private pray time and on my T-Mobile Android Phone for group prayer. Having all my Catholic prayers helps me and my family, see the importance of group prayer. We are a stronger family thanks to the time we take to support one another.

Here are some great Catholic Prayers that you may find helpful for your private or group prayer time.

Let the Lord Heal Your Marriage

Going through a separation or divorce is an experience in itself. When my first marriage failed, I just felt so alone and did not understand how the Lord could have wanted me to go through so much pain. And watching my children go through it just made me hurt even more.

But I did not have the tools that are available today that can help a couple rebuild their marriage if it is in trouble. You do not need to go talk to your pastor if you feel embarrassed. You can get advice from real Christian marriage coaches that can help you save your marriage from the big "D".

I wish I would have found this information prior to my divorce. But I have to except that the Lord has better plans for me and my children.

Is your marriage in trouble? Take the free mini-course and learn to save your Christian marriage.
