Pretty Wedding Aisle Decorations Do Double-Duty as Reception Centerpieces
How to transform Wedding Decorations and Aisle Markers into Centerpieces

These wedding flowers helped Erin and Chase maximize the floral budget. First, the flowers were hung from Church Pews with Doey's Pew Clips to decorate the wedding ceremony.
Next, they were repurposed as centerpieces at the reception. The lightweight arrangements were easily to transported to the reception.
At the end of the day, the flowers were given away as party favors. Erin and Chase received many compliments on their flowers and the Father of the Bride was overheard to say, "I get all this from just ONE flower arrangement? Gotta LOVE it."

Here are the same wedding ceremony flowers reused as centerpieces on the cocktail tables. At the end of the evening the flowers were given away as wedding favors to special guests.
Monique Wilber's, Wedding Flower Designs Do Double Duty as Reception Centerpieces
Brides, are you cutting Back on Wedding Flowers? What are your strategies for dealing with reduced budgets?

Monique Wilber, a talented florist and owner of A Special Day Designs has a plan for Brides with reduced budgets. She created these whimsical wedding aisle decorations recently for a bride on a tight budget. She wanted to create ceremony flowers that would do double duty as reception centerpieces. Her Bride was over-the-moon to be able to reuse these aisle decorations as centerpieces. The pink flowers were hung with coordinating ribbons in apple green polka dot vases from CathysWraps. After the wedding ceremony, the aisle decorations were removed and reused as reception centerpieces. They could just as easily have been re-tied to chair backs and hung from doors, windows and mirrors with removable hooks and suction cups.
Where else can you get such versatility from one flower arrangement? Thanks for sharing Monique!

Because you can never have too many flowers.
My name is Cathy and I am the designer behind the Seattle based company, CathysWraps. We are excited to be launching a new flower vase idea in fashion forward colors and patterns for weddings, events, personalized gifts and party favors.Cathyswraps and your artistic flair (or your favorite florists) allow you to create a signature look for your special day. Dangle flowers from the wedding aisle, then use them again as centerpieces at the reception and as favors for your guests or you could donate the non-glass vases to a local nursing home or children's hospital. No need to fuss rearranging the flowers because they are perfect as they are in non breakable vases and totally charming for any age.

CathysWraps Vases are perfect for hanging fresh flowers down a wedding aisle.
Fresh flowers clipped to a church pew with Doey's sturdy pew clips will not scratch the wood and Doey's Pew Clips are church approved. Best of all your wedding flower can be recycled after the ceremony as reception centerpieces and wedding favors. These aisle flowers are hung from the church pew with a sturdy flexible pew clip. The clip was invented by my mother Doey, and has been a favorite of wedding planners and florists for over 20 years. Originally designed for hanging bows from church pews without wire or tape, they now adapt to hang CathysWraps flower pots. This arrangement uses late summer garden flowers with several dahlias, ranunculus and bits of rosemary and grapes. The decorative wrap in apple green with white polka dots is made by CathysWraps.

The most affordable flowers are flowers that can be reused and recycled!
Being frugal is hip.
Hang flowers from traditional church pews, chair backs and shepherds hooks and use them again as reception table centerpieces and wedding favors. After the wedding transport the decorations to the reception. For a unique twist, hang your flowers from any smooth clean surface with a good quality suction cup hook or repositionable hook. Decorate windows and mirrors in the powder room, the walls, even the limousine. 3M removable hooks are a good choice and I've been pleased with the quality of suction cup hooks made by Adams Mfg. Corp.
If you're looking for green wedding ideas you'll appreciate reusing the wedding flowers at the reception and again as wedding favors. This is chic re-purposing and up cycling that is cost effective and hip!

"Now more than ever, women are vigilant when it comes to spending," said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. "Instead of re-inventing their wardrobe at the start of each season, consumers want pieces to complement what they already own. Pairing a bold color with a basic piece or freshening up their look with bright accents addresses the need for practicality, as well as fun."

Give a little joy!
Put a blooming plant in a cute little damask pot and give it to a friend.
It's easy, just pluck the primrose from the nursery pot, dirt and all, and place it in a CathysWraps damask wrapped pot and water.
Primroses may be grown indoors if you are able to provide them with cool night temperatures of 50-60 degrees F., high humidity, filtered sun and moist soil. Daytime temperatures must remain below 80 degrees. When they have finished blooming in the house it is best to plant them directly into the garden, or summer them outdoors in their pots and moved back to the house at the end of the season.
