This is a beautiful story, I also am a cat lover... I've always had them. My recent one I adopted from a friend who could no longer have her, she is 17 (84 in cat years)... we love her very much... her name is Spatz (but we call her gma's because she is so old).

Thanks for visiting Hannah. OT isn't actually mine, but he visits when he feels like it. :-) Yes, I think Tia was abandoned, but she's happy now!

Hi Talking about sick cats, although is years since we had one, way back when we had the hobby farm we had around half a dozen ranging from the Siamese through the farm moggies. The main problem we had was with snakes.

The Siamese got bitten, off to the vet, anti-venom shot with instructions to dunk the cat in cold water. We did that cat not happy about it even though mostly paralysed. It recovered well and as a reward to us took to bringing snakes to the door for us!!!!!. She got bitten again but recovered without the shot but we did dunk her again.

Not so lucky were the moggies we lots two of them to the snaks.

I own 7 cats. They each have their own personality and tempermant. I took in 6 of the neighbor's neglected cats. I had 2 of my own, and recently had to put one of them to sleep. You can see my lens here Cool Cats. I like this lens! Good job.

    How to weigh your cat.
    1. Get out the bathroom scales and remove dust
    2. Find the cat
    3. Get on the scales without cat and note the result without losing sight of the goal.
    4. Hug the cat and get on the scales again. The number should be higher this time.
    5. Subtract the lower number from the higher number and you have the cat's weight.
    6. Taking appropriate action to adjust the first reading in step 3 is purely optional

I'm fully trained by our cats to open doors and supply milk. They have trained me to open the fridge even before my tea is ready, so they don't have to wait overlong for milk to appear in the dish.
Thanks for your Lens Jean. High 5*
